Covid-19

The Craven Arms Enborne.

New Measures from 24th September 2020 .

We would like to thank you for your great feedback and cooperation in helping us create a safe yet social environment. The world of the pub has changed and as well wanting to make the experience fun we also want to create a safe environment for you and our team.

We have a new exciting addition to our garden. You can now dine and drink in our wonderful tipi. With social distancing we can sit up to 50 people. With gin bar, natural air, fire pits and heating for the colder weather it really will be nice and cosy for you to enjoy whatever the weather.

Due to the new government guidelines we have issued the following procedures that we ask are adhered to. We understand that this is different to the normal so we have put these measures in place to ensure we can operate smoothly and safely. We understand there is a lot to read but we have managed to try to put 42 pages of compliance into the below. If we all do not comply this could end up in the closure of our lovely pub. We thank you for your understanding.

It is now mandatory to wear a mask whilst entering, leaving or using the toilets on the premises.  You may remove your mask whilst seated.
Track and trace is operational and a legal requirement
You cannot order at the bar.  It is table service only.

TABLE BOOKINGS
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU MUST BOOK A TABLE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. IF YOU DO NOT WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE YOU AND WE WILL NOT BE ALLOWING A QUEUING SYSTEM FOR THE PUB OR STANDING.

 We now have an online table booking form. This can be booked through our website
 We cannot take bookings through Facebook or social media. These are not constantly monitored at all times.
 Tables must be booked in advance through our website.
 You can book inside the pub, outside garden or the tipi tent which is heated and suited for all weather.
 Please be aware that if you have not booked a table through our online app and just arrive at the pub there may be a chance we will not be able to accommodate you. If we do have a free table you can book this on site or if you do not have access to a website we can do this on your behalf. However this cannot be guaranteed.
 If you have been allocated or booked a table we have been asked to keep a record of all persons who have visited our premises and will have to keep your name and contact from your booking information for government guidelines. This is in case of an outbreak of COVID-19 in the area so you can be contacted. This will be secured on our online booking system and data protection laws apply.  If you just walk in we have a QR code for you to scan to enter your details.  This is a legal requirement
 Tables can only be held for 15 minutes. After this it will be considered a no show and you will be charged for this. As we are staggering bookings to avoid queues and maintain a safe environment we have to stick to this.
 Tables are limited to 2.5 hour time limits.
 We have an even amount for dining only tables and drinking and dining.
 If you have booked a table outside in the garden and in the event of bad weather we will try to offer a seat inside but if you do not wish this on the day please call us in the morning to cancel your table.  We ask for a 48 hour cancellation notice for all other tables.  We have had many no shows so unfortunately will not able to take another booking from you without a deposit being paid.
